In this workshop participants take a playful approach to
colour planning and learn how-to combine various wide cut
widths in techniques that utilize both directional and non-directional
hooking. Working with an overdyed wool colour wheel we explore
ways to combine bright intense colours with muted colours.
Participants will colour plan and begin hooking a design
of their choice during the workshop. The workshop fee includes
print materials, lunches and snacks for the workshop. Patterns
and materials available for purchase.

In this ten week workshop we discuss the aspects of art
fundamentals and how they apply to rug hooking. Each evening
will focus on specific aspects of design and colour. Participants
work on a rug design of their choice and receive weekly
feedback from the instructor.
The workshop fee includes print materials.

to Primitive Rug Hooking |

This is a hands on workshop and participants will learn
basic colour planning concepts and the techniques such as

the tea cup pattern on burlap, fabric, and lunch.
